This is a logo design for the Multimedia Photography & Design (MPD) Department in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I chose to use a burnt orange color to play off of the well known SU Orange. I indirectly spelt out 'mpd' in lowercase letters with lines to allow for a logo that can be easily animated. I also felt that each line represented layers in way, which is something that photographers and designers both work with.
