As a Graphic Production Designer at Joss & Main, a premier online-only home retailer, I design the event image and look book visuals as well as edit all product shots being sold in each event for about 9-12 events (flash sales) per week. Each of these displayed event image and lookbook pages are samples of my own work that have already launched on-site. The digital reworks have all been produced in Photoshop. I have learned that the key to producing a successful 'faked scene' is to build lighting and shadows in order to create a sense of depth and realism in these digital mockups. I have learned to transform countless in-house photographs in post production as well---from inserting fake fire into a fireplace to creating realistic mirror reflections, you name it and I've most likely tackled the challenge! I have also gained experience in color/pattern draping, which I have shown with a before and after in-house photo. In post production, I masked the entire wall and draped a wallpaper pattern over the white wall. Joss & Main heavily relies on in-house photo edits in post production and digital mock ups since we cannot always achieve our vision without a little (or a lot of) Photoshop magic.
